It’s officially summer, which—if TV is to be believed—means it’s time for international travel, beach parties, and road-trips. Now, I am far too heat-avoidant, not-rich, and generally exhausted for that to be my reality, but surely someone out there is planning a cross-country car trip or backpacking tour. Even if you’re like me—becoming so irrationally despondent and angry during the summer that it almost feels pathological—you’ll probably need some captivating listening to distract you from the smell of hot garbage and the way your sweat smudges your mascara.
